Hanes Launches School Fundraising Program

Hanes Branded Printwear (asi/59528) has introduced an expanded Hanes4Education program, giving screen printers and their customers the opportunity to raise money for K-12 schools. The supplier will donate 10 cents per item on orders of Hanes and Champion printed apparel to the school designated by screen printers’ customers.

“For the last four years, Hanes has been able to donate more than $1 million to schools through Hanes4Education and our partnership with Box Tops for Education,” said Rachel Newman, director of sales and marketing for Hanes Branded Printwear. The new program, she adds, “is a simple and direct way [for screen-print customers] to support K-12 schools in their communities at a time when schools are very much in need.”

All public and private K-12 schools registered with their respective state are eligible. Schools can earn a maximum of $500 per order and $5,000 total per calendar year. Screen-printing customers from any market can participate by providing invoices for Hanes and Champion purchases to the recipient school. Either the customer or the school can then fill out the rebate form.

The Hanes4Education program includes orders of printed Hanes and Champion T-shirts, sport shirts and fleece. A complete list of qualifying styles is available at www.Hanes4Education.com.
