Who in the business world do you admire most or strive to emulate?

I admire anyone, male or female, who delivers on what they promise and chooses to do it with kindness.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

When I was thinking about starting my own company, my husband and girlfriends were extremely supportive. They thought I had the natural gifts to be successful. They supported me in many ways throughout the process, down to helping me develop my logo and tagline and finance my start-up. To this day, 21 years later, they're still my sounding board.

What’s one thing you’d do to improve the industry?

I’d like to see more opportunities for the small fish to compete in the big pond!

What’s on your personal bucket list?

I’m not a fan of flying so I’d like to overcome that fear and travel more. I’ve always traveled by RV but that somewhat limits your ability to see the world.

If you could choose an age to remain forever, which would you choose? 

34 - I married my husband and we blended our two families.

What would you do with 15 minutes of fame?

I’ve been honored with many awards, both personal and professional, and it’s never about me. None of us can do it, whatever that “it” is, alone. We all have a tribe, whether it’s a spouse, friend, business partner or community. So it would never just be my 15 minutes of fame because someone helped me get there!
