Lisa Snyder, brand manager at Allentown Toy Manufacturing Co. (asi/117801) in Allentown, PA, passed away on Sept. 22 after a battle with cancer. She was 48.

Born in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Alice Tiley and the late Buddy Wright.

For the past 10 years, she took care of customers at Allentown Toy, helping them with their ASI orders, as well as carnival supplies and T-shirt guns for events.

“She knew so much about what was current, she was very knowledgeable and she loved helping people find exactly what they needed,” says President Nancy Homan. “She wasn’t a wallflower, she had fun and she loved meeting people. You could be at a store three towns over and she would run into someone she knew. She will be missed.”

Snyder was also a member of the West Catasauqua Fire Company and the American Legion Post #367 (Fullerton).

In addition to her mother, Snyder is survived by her sisters Lynn Deibert, Melissa Carlson, Sandie Preusch and Helen Wright; children Alicia Wellington, Joshua Wellington and Jayce Snyder; grandchildren Hailie and Akalia; companion Glen Clewell; and stepfather Richard Tiley. She was predeceased by her father, Buddy, and son Douglas.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30 and on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Northampton, PA.
