Jeff DePalma has served in sales leadership positions at multiple Counselor Top 40 companies.

Now, the New Jersey native is taking the next step in his 15-years-and-running promotional products career, rising to the role of vice president of enterprise sales at Counselor Top 40 distributor Geiger (asi/202900).

DePalma is charged with leading the expansion of Geiger’s reach on a global scale. Geiger said DePalma will leverage his network of relationships with the distributor’s sales partners and suppliers to build long-term partnerships with enterprise-level customers across industries.

Geiger Chief Revenue Officer Chris McKee said the timing is right for a leader with DePalma’s skillset to take on the VP position.

“Geiger is experiencing rapid growth, especially with our enterprise-level clients,” McKee said. “We’re signing major corporations and expanding our footprint in the industry. This fast-paced expansion requires a dedicated leader like Jeff, who understands the complexities of large-scale operations and has a proven track record of success.”

DePalma joined Geiger in 2021 as regional vice president for the Northeast. He was previously a sales manager at Counselor Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390), a vice president of sales at the company that’s evolved into Counselor Top 40 supplier NC Custom (asi/44900) and director of promotional marketing at Counselor Top 40 distributor Taylor Promotional Products (asi/333647).

“I’m incredibly proud of the journey I’ve had with Geiger and the opportunity to contribute to our growth,” said DePalma, who holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Seton Hall University and an MBA from Rutgers University.

It’s been a busy year for Lewiston, ME-headquartered Geiger. The company said it has made four acquisitions, including Brandelity in England and WER GmbH in Germany.

Based on reported 2023 North American promotional product sales of $330.3 million, Geiger ranked ninth on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
