Spector & Co. Promotes Samantha Santo to Vice President of Product Development

She’s been with the Montreal-based supplier since March 2023 and was instrumental in designing new styles for its Ashbury bags collection.

Top 40 supplier Spector & Co. (asi/88660) has a new executive.

Samantha Santo has been promoted to the position of vice president of product development, reporting to CEO Rob Spector. Most recently, she was the director of product development for the Montreal-based supplier’s line of retail-inspired Ashbury bags, a role she had held since March 2023. The line includes backpacks, crossbody bags, duffels, totes, messengers and more.

“Since joining Spector & Co., Sam has been a dynamic force, combining her passion and positivity to drive innovation,” said the company. “Her standout achievement with the launch of new Ashbury bag styles not only rejuvenated the collection, but also significantly boosted the brand’s presence in the market.”

Before joining Spector & Co., Santo was director of product development and design for HB Connections, a manufacturer of handbags and luggage for fashion retailers, for nearly two years. She was also a senior product developer/buyer at Ardene, a Canadian clothing and accessories retailer, and spent four years in product development at the ALDO Group, a Montreal-based fashion retailer.
