4imprint Increases Solar Capacity as Part of Flagship Facility’s Expansion

Counselor Top 40 distributor 4imprint (asi/197045), the largest distributorship by revenue in the North American promotional products industry, announced Oct. 24 that it has completed a 170,000-square-foot expansion of its flagship facility in Oshkosh, WI.
Now 475,000 square feet total, the distribution center is the London, U.K.-headquartered company’s center of operations in North America, where the firm generates the vast majority of its more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
In addition to providing increased production capacity, the expansion effort has a sustainability story to tell. 4imprint added 1,488 solar panels as part of the construction project, increasing solar capacity at the facility by 56%. 4imprint first installed a solar array in 2022, and now has more than 4,000 panels at the site.
The distributorship, which operates an e-commerce business model, has more than half of its 1,600 team members in the Oshkosh digs. And for sure, executives said, those workers were well in mind during the expansion.
To wit: The expansion features a health clinic with a waiting area, exam rooms, physical therapy space and lab. “The enhanced and expanded clinic will provide team members with convenient access to onsite healthcare services, often at no additional cost, promoting overall well-being,” 4imprint said in a statement.
The building also includes new office space, a new break area and additional meeting and collaboration facilities. “The distribution center expansion equips us to support our future growth while enhancing both our customer and associate experience,” said 4imprint CEO Kevin Lyons-Tarr, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people.
It’s been a newsy couple weeks for 4imprint. The publicly traded firm also just announced the hiring of a new chief financial officer.
Based on reported 2023 North American promotional product revenue of about $1.3 billion, 4imprint ranked first on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry.
