GroupeSTAHL Promotes Ellsworth
Josh Ellsworth is now executive vice president of sales and marketing.
From maintenance to sales, Josh Ellsworth has pretty much done it all during his 23 years at GroupeSTAHL.
Now, Ellsworth is rising to the role of executive vice president of sales and marketing at the St. Clair, MI-based company that specializes in manufacturing heat transfer materials and equipment.
Going forward, Ellsworth’s increased responsibilities will include managing all GroupeSTAHL brands, direct sales and distribution channels, and deployment of sales resources. He’ll also continue to identify potential new markets through partnerships and new channels of distribution.
“With his new position, Josh has added even more responsibility to his role at GroupeSTAHL,” said CEO Carleen Gray, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of the industry’s most influential people. “As always, his main focus is making sure STAHLS’ customers receive the highest level of customer care and satisfaction.”
Since joining GroupeSTAHL in 1998, Ellsworth has built a successful high profile both at the company and within the broader decorating industry.
At STAHLS’ (asi/88984), he’s been in leadership or support positions in maintenance, sales and production, serving in jobs that include general manager of STAHLS’ CAD-CUT Direct, general manager STAHLS’ TV and vice president of dealer sales.
“Throughout his career, Josh has helped implement heat printing production systems in some of the largest garment factories in the U.S., as well as set up thousands of small businesses with their very first heat press machine,” GroupeSTAHL noted in a press release.
A trusted expert in the field of heat printing, Ellsworth is known for his work as an educator in the space. Indeed, one of his industry-related YouTube videos has over 1 million views. He has also created, written and/or been featured in more than 1,000 educational videos, with millions of views worldwide. Additionally, Ellsworth delivers educational seminars at trade shows around the world, and regularly participates in STAHLS’ Heat Press for Profit Facebook Group.
In his personal life, the dedicated dad serves as a school board member at a small private school.
