4imprint Donates Notebooks After School Shooting
Oshkosh West High School is near the Top 40 firm’s North American headquarters.
4imprint’s (asi/197045) reach is international, but its focus was on helping locally in the wake of a shooting at a school near its U.S. headquarters.
The North American promotional products industry’s largest distributor by revenue, 4imprint’s main operations are in Oshkosh, WI. On Dec. 3, a 16-year-old student stabbed a school resource officer at Oshkosh West High School, according to a police account. In self-defense, the officer fired his handgun – a shot that struck the student, police said. Both officer and student went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Students were out of school for several days. When they returned Friday, the Oshkosh Police Department provided the teens with breakfast. Individuals and local businesses donated the food and beverages. Students also received notebooks, donated by 4imprint, that bore the message #wildcatstrong. Oshkosh West’s team nickname is the “Wildcats.” The notebooks aimed to help create a sense of unity and collective strength in the wake of the violent incident.
