Proforma Donates Essential Supplies to Cleveland Charity
The drive benefited at-risk infants and children in the local community.
As part of its long-standing tradition of holding a holiday charity drive, Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) announced that its Support Center in Cleveland recently donated more than 700 items to Providence House, a crisis nursery and emergency shelter for at-risk infants and children in Greater Cleveland.
Donations included educational toys, clothing, arts and crafts and infant supplies, as well as fleece blankets and cloth masks. Proforma partnered with Providence House to establish a donation website that ensured items were sent directly to those in need.
“The amount of donations that we’ve received for the Providence House fundraiser has been amazing,” said Proforma CEO Vera Muzzillo. “It’s incredible not only to meet but also exceed the goals we had set for this year. It’s truly such a great feeling to be a part of something so special and I want to personally thank all of the employees who donated to the Providence House charity event this year.”
In addition, both Proforma Support Centers in Cleveland and Tampa sent holiday greeting cards to local nursing home residents.
“It’s so wonderful to see our Support Center Team Members rally around and throughout the community, especially during these particularly trying times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Kathy Mayo, director of HR for Proforma. “We’re so proud of our team and wish to thank everyone who donated this holiday season.”
With just over $500 million in 2019 revenue, Proforma ranks fourth on Counselor’s most recent list of the 40 largest distributors in the industry.
