It was a year of growth for commonsku.

The Toronto-headquartered provider of business and sales software to the promotional products industry revealed that collective annual revenue from distributors in its network this year tallied more than $1.8 billion, a nearly 30% rise from 2022.

The milestone means that distributors operating on the commonsku platform in total reached the $1.8 billion revenue figure – a sign of collective success. Commonsku is a cloud-based CRM, order management and social collaboration solution.

Catherine and Mark Graham, members of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, are the founders and top executives of commonsku.

“We’re so proud of this team,” said commonsku CEO Catherine Graham, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “The dedication they have to create a simpler, faster and more efficient way to drive business growth for our customers has never been more exciting, and this year is just a hint of the growth and improvements to come in 2024.”

There were other impressive growth signs, executives said. More than 800 distributors now use commonsku; that’s up from 715 in 2022. The number of e-commerce shops operated through the platform soared 75% year over year. In 2023, there was also a 23% annual increase in sales projects created on commonsku.

The company said that workflow enhancements helped power success. Those included a new product mockup tool, multi-size/color add option, tag management, client shipment notifications and a supplier spend report. Upgrades to commonsku’s “Shops” offering included a new design studio, an integration with UnSplash photo, and the first of Shops themes that will allow commonsku customers “to flex their creative muscle,” the firm said.

This year, commonsku also entered into new partnerships and expanded on others. Frontier Growth, a private equity firm, invested in commonsku, though Catherine Graham and her husband/fellow Power 50 member Mark, the company’s president and chief brand officer, have retained majority control.

Meanwhile, commonsku partnered with Delegate CX, a staffing solutions provider to the promo industry, and with Proven Marketing Strategists, which delivers marketing services to promotional products firms. Also of note: commonsku extended PromoStandards integrations to include Top 40 suppliers Gemline (asi/56070) and Stormtech (asi/89869).

“This year-end review helps us reflect on the many partnerships with distributors, suppliers and service partners that continue to make the commonsku experience dynamic and highly impactful to each of their businesses,” said Mark Graham.
