Compass Industries (asi/46170), a New York-based supplier, will be selling Boogie Board electronic reusable writing tablets in the promotional products industry through a new partnership with Ohio-based Kent Displays Inc. – makers of the eWriter products.

“Boogie Board’s unique and innovative reusable writing products will be an excellent addition to our current roster of brands,” said Compass President Michael Levy. “We are excited to get these remarkable products into the hands of our distributors and their end-users.” The reusability of the eWriter tablets can appeal to any end-customer for which sustainability is important, Levy asserted.

Compass Industries now carries the Boogie Board Jot Pocket Writing Tablet.

Since launching the original Boogie Board for direct-to-consumer business in 2009, Kent Displays has continued to develop writing and creativity products for different modes of life, with end-markets that appreciate the items including finance, education, real estate and healthcare, executives said.

As this video demonstrates, the Boogie Board Jot Pocket, now carried by Compass Industries, is a reusable electronic writing tablet that features a 4.5-inch screen. Users write with the included stylus or anything on hand, the supplier said. When users are ready to erase, they push the button and the writing tablet clears itself. With the electronic erase, the flash of an electric field rearranges the molecules so that they are less reflective.

Compass Industries has been in business for 86 years. The supplier carries other retail brands that include Maglite, Leatherman, Buck Knives, Zippo and Nite Ize, among others.
