Joe Huber Named to SVP Sales Role at The Kanata Group

The Missouri-based supplier specializes in products that include blankets, towels, throws and footwear.

Joe Huber has nearly 11 years of sales experience at a Top 40 supplier under his belt.

Now, he’s taking that track record to The Kanata Group (asi/73520) as the Missouri-based company’s new senior vice president of promotional sales. In the role, Huber will manage promo-channel business for Kanata’s family of brands, which include NeetFeet and British Columbia-based Kanata Blanket and Kanata Towel.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be joining The Kanata Group team and to get the opportunity to continue to learn and grow,” Huber said in a LinkedIn post. Along with April Chu, executive vice president of Kanata Blanket, he will report to CEO Bill Decker.

Huber began his promo career in 2013 as a district sales manager with Top 40 supplier The Magnet Group (asi/68507). He worked his way up through various promotions to national sales manager, a position he held for over five years, overseeing a team of sales pros that covered more than half the United States.

“My mission is to provide a terrific customer experience, innovative marketing solutions and quality promotional products to our clients and partners,” Huber said.

A former college baseball player who was an assistant baseball coach at St. Joseph’s College of Indiana, Huber has also served as a volunteer board member with PPAMidwest, an industry nonprofit organization.

With roots stretching back to 1993 through its Kanata Blanket operation, The Kanata Group specializes in products that include blankets, throws and towels. Through its NeetFeet brand, the company offers custom flip-flops and logo footwear.
