Infographic: Product Preferences in the Canadian Promo Industry

This second installment in our SOI infographic series from ASI Research shows product preferences in the domestically made, socially responsible and eco-conscious categories.

New data from ASI Research shows that the same number of Canadian and U.S. distributors prefer to source products made in their respective home countries. Meanwhile, more Canadian distributors prefer to purchase environmentally friendly and socially responsible products.

Aaron Moscoe, CEO of TPS Promotions & Incentives (asi/341409) in Markham, ON, says he’s seen a notable increase in demand for such items. “End-clients recognize that their commitment to environmental, social and governance strategy has to be sincere and defensible,” he says. “They’re focusing more on systematizing their commitments, including through marketing and procurement. They’re also looking for independent certifications of various supply chain elements to make sure items are indeed environmentally friendly and socially responsible.”
