Stormtech Partners With the Vancouver Canucks

The Canada-based promo supplier will provide staff uniforms and a retail collection for the pro hockey team.

Vancouver, BC-based Stormtech (asi/89869) announced Tuesday that it will provide staff uniforms and logoed retail teamwear for its hometown professional hockey club – the Vancouver Canucks.

The official partnership for the 2018/19 season is with Canucks Sports and Entertainment, which encompasses the National Hockey League team and Rogers Arena, the club’s home stadium. In addition to providing uniforms for CSE staff, Stormtech has created a retail collection of branded apparel that fans can buy at the Canucks team store at Rogers Arena and online here. The retail collection includes a polo, hoodies and jackets.

“We are excited about the partnership as it makes sense for Stormtech in so many ways,” says Michael Dalzell, the supplier’s vice president of marketing. “We’re supplying quality corporate apparel for the CSE uniform program, supporting our local distributors and introducing our new retail offering to Canucks fans.”

Samples from the retail collection include:

The Vancouver Canucks Stormtech Mirage Polo features moisture wicking, UV protection, anti-snag fabric and other performance features.

Capitalizing on the trend toward workwear silhouettes in outerwear, the Vancouver Canucks Stormtech Tradesmith Johnny Jacket features a water-repellent finish, sherpa fleece lining and light thermal fill for added warmth.

The Vancouver Canucks Stormtech Sidewinder Shell Jacket has four-way stretch fabric.

To build buzz around the retail collection, Stormtech and the Canucks collaborated on the “Stormtech Photo Challenge.” The initiative encouraged fans to share photos of themselves and their loved ones in the outdoors on Instagram and via the Canucks website, while using the tag #StormtechPhotoChallenge. Stormtech says the contest smashed “previous engagement for similar initiatives run by the Canucks.”
