Philadelphia-based global promotional products distributor network AIM Smarter has announced that it will host a virtual discussion on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace, on Tuesday, April 13 at noon ET.

Diversity expert Roy Gluckman will moderate the event, called “DEI in the Workplace,” which is free to attend and open to the entire promotional products industry.

AIM established a diversity council in December and is hosting a year-long series of virtual educational sessions for the industry.

The event is part of AIM’s year-long DEI Series of educational sessions, first announced in December when the firm also established a diversity council made up of suppliers and distributors in the promo industry.

“Embracing diversity and inclusion has always been a core principle at AIM and essential to the organization’s future goals and vision,” said CEO Nichole Stella in December. “It is our mission to foster an inclusive environment that advocates for and is inspirational and reflective of our entire community. The formation of the council is just the first step for AIM to be a driving force in the industry for these efforts.”
