Established in 1998 by the International Stress Management Association, this day is set aside to raise awareness to the causes of stress, how it exacerbates health issues, and ways to mitigate it. The observance is an ideal time for wellness providers to promote their services.

PITCH: Encourage doctors/medical offices to distribute branded brochures on the nature of stress and how to cope. Present relaxation kits to spas.

November 9/Go to an Art Museum Day

Help museums both large and small welcome visitors to view their collections on this day that fosters appreciation of the visual arts. Organizations may offer discounts and special exhibits, and they can use branded products to promote their events and commemorate the day.

November 10/National Vanilla Cupcake Day

Bakeries and grocery stores can take advantage of this sweet day to promote this classic treat and all their delicious goods. Some may even choose to bake uniquely decorated offerings to mark the observance.

November 15/America Recycles Day

Since 1994, states have celebrated this day to promote the importance of recycling and best practices. In 1999, then-President Bill Clinton made it a national observance. Since then, it’s grown into thousands of recycling events across the country.

PITCH: Support local organizations participating in events by presenting items like notepads made with recycled paper and magnets, which can provide information for local recycling centers.
